Who attends Al-Anon meetings?
Members and prospective members – those whose personal lives have been affected by the problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend.

Can others interested in the family disease of alcoholism attend meetings?
Some groups hold Open* meetings and have an Open* designation. Anyone interested in the family disease of alcoholism is invited to attend Open* meetings. These meetings are made up of members and prospective members, but occasionally have nurses, students or others attend.
